Jaclyn graduated with a Juris Doctor in 2010, was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in April 2011, and has practiced on the Northern Beaches since that time. Jaclyn has dedicated herself to family law from the start of her legal career, but also has extensive experience in wills and estates (including family provision claims), estate planning and commercial matters.
Jaclyn can provide advice in relation to all areas of family law, including divorce, de facto relationships, parenting, property settlement, family violence, child support, and spousal maintenance. She has successfully represented clients in the Federal Circuit Court, Family Court of Australia and Local Court, however always aims to achieve timely, practical, and positive settlements by the consent of the parties and without the intervention of the Court where possible.
Jaclyn understands how challenging and stressful family law matters can be for her clients, and has an empathetic and professional approach. She recognises that no two family law matters are the same, and tailors the conduct of her matters accordingly.
Outside of the law, Jaclyn has volunteered for many years at a local primary school teaching ethics.
